About Me

I am a proud U.S. Marine veteran and seasoned IT engineer with 10+ years of enterprise-level experience supporting storage infrastructure, Linux systems, and automation for some of the biggest names in the industry, including EDS, Hewlett-Packard, Dell EMC, and General Motors.

Throughout my career, I’ve specialized in designing, deploying, and supporting mission-critical NAS and object storage environments, with a focus on platforms like Dell Isilon (PowerScale), NetApp ONTAP, and Dell ECS/StorageGRID. I’ve led initiatives to streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve uptime in high-availability environments — often building custom tools and scripts in Python and Bash to automate time-consuming tasks.

I’ve worked side-by-side with infrastructure, application, and DevOps teams, bringing Linux expertise to everything from storage migrations to cloud integrations and Kubernetes experimentation. I even spent time in GM’s Dev-IT group, helping develop and enhance internal web tools using Django.
